The new South Burnett Regional Council (which includes the old Nanango, Kingaroy, Wondai and Murgon shires) consists of six Divisions.

There is one Councillor elected in each Division as well as a Mayor. The Mayor and Councillors were elected for a four-year term in March 2008.

I was elected as the Councillor for Division 4.
